Job Summary/Description:
Be part of the news team on the cutting edge of digital technologies in a statewide streaming studio. KNOP-TV is looking for a multimedia journalist and streaming anchor located in North Platte. This person will generate stories for broadcast and digital news platforms. The role includes reporter, producer, and anchor responsibilities.
As an MMJ, you will generate content for broadcast and digital platforms. You will also fill in anchor as needed. Cover local news, including content for digital platforms. Represent the station at public functions as needed, plus other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• ️Express passion for learning about our community and our audience and to authentically demonstrate that passion on the air, online, and especially in person.
• ️ On-air experience at a professional news station, a college degree, or equivalent job experience in a journalism-related field are desired.
• ️ The ability to communicate live on-screen in a professional manner for all of our media channels.
• ️ The ability to proficiently operate newsroom computers and other news-gathering equipment, excellent people skills when dealing with coworkers and the public, a valid driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record.
• ️ Position would require permanent residence in North Platte, Nebraska.
