Job Summary/Description:

KLTV is looking for a video editor for the Emmy Award winning, ''Good Morning East Texas''. Duties include editing video and sound for 2 1/2 hour weekday morning show. This is an overnight position. Regular schedule works to prepare video for Monday-Friday morning newscasts. Employee in this position is normally finished with their shift by 7:00 AM each day!

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Edit newscast video for stories and teases in 2 1/2 hour morning newscast
- Reading newscast copy in order to match video images
- Communicate with newscast producers

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Professional non-linear editing knowledge (KLTV uses Edius, similar to many other common platforms)
- Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Strong attention to detail
- College degree or some college experience preferred, but not required
- This is an overnight position, must be willing to fill in occasionally on weekends and holidays
