Job Summary/Description:

We are looking for a talented, creative Weekend Morning Anchor who will work with another Producer to work on the #1 weekend morning show in East Texas. This position also reports live three mornings a week on our weekday morning newscast, Good Morning East Texas and fills in as an anchor on weekday mornings when needed.

Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:
- Anchor Good Morning East Texas Weekend
- Co-Produce Good Morning East Texas Weekend
- Edit portions of the newscast
- Report on Good Morning East Texas three weekdays each week
- Fill-in anchor on Good Morning East Texas weekdays when needed

Qualifications/Requirements:
• College degree in Journalism related field is strongly preferred. Experience in a commercial TV station or strong college program is a major plus. Must have strong writing, organizational skills and excellent communication skills. Must be able to work under deadline pressure. Must work well with news makers, contacts, viewing public and others. Required to work weekends and some holidays.
