Job Summary/Description:

KEYC-TV, the CBS, FOX, NBC and CW affiliates in Mankato, MN, has an immediate opening for a Production Assistant. This part-time position involves weekend and weekday evening newscasts and other station production. Position will require availability for weekends, holidays, weekdays and occasional fill-in shifts in other day-parts due to changing shifts, station projects, etc.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Serve as an audio technician, assistant director or director for all productions
*Work efficiently with little supervision
*Must be able to work effectively under pressure
*Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
*Must have excellent communication skills and get along well with co-workers
*Understanding of all equipment in studio and production areas
*Work closely with other departments to meet all daily demands
*Training of new personnel as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Applicant should have a career interest, training and/or experience in the television broadcast industry.
