KECI is looking for a dynamic full-time Meteorologist. In addition to being an outstanding journalist with a great personality, you need to be a team leader. Our meteorologists are leaders who participate in the planning of our shows and produce content regularly. A competitive passion to win and openness to innovation is mandatory! The main day to day responsibilities of the role will include…
• Forecasting, Producing and Presenting clear and concise weather casts, which tell a story and connect with viewers
• Issue warnings and alerts, produce original graphics and maps, and report live during weather events
• Utilize social media during severe weather, as well as write daily weather stories
• Lifestyle forecasting, embracing the outdoors, and love for weather
• Work with producers to determine relevant weather content in breaking and everyday situations

What skills do you need to be successful in our role?
• Passion for weather year-round
• In depth knowledge of forecasting
• Ability to multitask while meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks
• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology
• 2 years experience in weather presentation
• Embrace Montana
