Job Summary/Description:

KCBD is looking for a hard-working, creative, and energetic video editor/photojournalist to join our award-winning team. This is a part-time position that will invest, train and provide opportunities for the winning candidate to grow and advance. This position will require video editing, help produce newscast, coordinating with producers, reporters and anchors, on our #1-rated newscasts. You will collaborate with other team members to deliver the best possible product on-air.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to creatively tell stories using video, utilizing natural sound and creative editing techniques
- Knowledge of video-editing software
- Must work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must practice solid news judgment and have knowledge of current events
- Must be able to make good decisions quickly
- Ability to represent the station professionally in the community and newsroom
- Must be able to work well independently and with others
- Related experience is a plus
- Being a team player
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
