Salary/Wage:
$39,500 - $42,500/yr.

Job Summary/Description:
Northern News Now in beautiful Duluth, MN, has an opening for a bright, motivated, and energetic meteorologist for our morning newscasts. With the Northland being such an exciting region to forecast, this position will keep you busy and on your toes. You'll serve viewers across northeastern Minnesota, northwestern Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. You'll have all the tools you need to deliver everything Mother Nature throws at us.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze data and models and effectively communicate that information to viewers across multiple platforms.
- Accurately forecast and track weather.
- Create regular social media content.
- Available to work both in the studio and the field.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Weather Computer systems; WSI Max is a plus.
- Knowledge of ENSP & Edius is a plus.
- Experience as a Broadcast Meteorologist is a plus.
- Flexible scheduling, especially in the event of severe weather.
- Must have exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
