Copy Coordinator

Job Description

KATU (ABC) and KUNP (Univision) in Portland, OR is searching for a multi-talented, energetic and organized team player to join our sales support team as Sales Copy Coordinator. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, work with a high level of accuracy, be very detail oriented, have the ability to problem solve and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities will include:
• Securing and accurately processing traffic instructions for all advertisers.
• Ensure commercials are received, downloaded and processed correctly in advance of deadlines.
• Entering all copy related information using Wide Orbit traffic system.
• Process all commercials received via FTP, Extreme Reach, internal production and other various delivery sources for daily processing by master control.
• Maintain active and archival commercial library
• Maintaining electronic files for all traffic instructions.
• Resolve commercial issues with master control hub in Seattle, clients and sales department stakeholders
• Manage revisions and missing instructions for assigned advertiser and communicate with the sales department regarding status of issues
• Provide customer service and other assigned tasks on a local and national level
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Must be self-motivated and can work under pressure
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Must be highly motivated and ambitious with a 'can do' attitude
• Previous broadcast experience preferred
• Experience in Wide Orbit traffic system preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with Sales, News, Creative Services and Digital Departments
