Job Summary/Description:

KALB is looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Marketing Director with excellent brand-building skills. Candidate must be an expert visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography, and graphic & video editing.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Develop and execute KALB's annual marketing plan, including brand promotion and advertising campaigns for broadcast, digital, and live events
- Act as a working manager with the ability to shoot and edit commercials and station promos from pre-production to post-production
- Responsible for marketing strategies and brand management, aiming to connect audiences with our content, prioritizing key messages
- Exhibit a high level of organization and time management to ensure the timely delivery of projects
- Candidate will work closely with the General Manager and other department heads

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or a similar field
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Edius, Photoshop & After Effects
- Minimum of two years in consumer marketing experience, preferably in broadcast
- Knowledge in professional HD/4K videography equipment, including DSLRs & high-end cinema cameras - creative lighting techniques, audio mixing, and motion graphic design
- Passion and respect for local news and journalistic integrity
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency, under deadline, and while juggling multiple priorities
- Expertise in promotions placement across multiple platforms as part of overall brand strategy
- Ability to drive short-term results while holding a long-term vision
- Working knowledge of on-air, streaming, and digital promotion production techniques
- Candidate must provide demo reel for consideration
