Job Summary/Description:

KAIT 8 in beautiful Northeast Arkansas is looking for a dynamic Weekend Sports Anchor & MMJ. The perfect candidate must be a great story teller who can deliver content that captivates even non-sports lovers. This candidate will be motivated, passionate, a team player and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
• Produce and anchor sports content on weekends, or on weekdays as needed
• Enterprise, shoot, edit, and report compelling stories with a sports emphasis
• Must be a multi-platform storyteller, regularly posting to social media, the station website and news apps
• Meet tight daily deadlines
• Respond urgently and appropriately to breaking and developing news

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to write for broadcast news
- Strong shooting & editing skills
- Ability to execute compelling live shots
- Valid driver's license
