THE ROLE

The warehouse crew member will work with shipping and receiving management in coordination with truck drivers to safely and properly load and unload various products and materials for shipment or storage. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complete required training to safely operate various equipment
• Receive and follow instructions from Assistant Warehouse Manager regarding movement and loading of products
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently
• Inspect trailers before loading and unloading
• Execute day to day tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ year of operations, logistics, and/or supply chain experience preferred
• OSHA and ANSI certifications for forklift operation
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and shipping and receiving operations
• Ability to safely operate all applicable heavy machinery as designated
• Flexibility and willingness to help anywhere and at varied hours or work days
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments, utilize proper radio protocol and interact professionally with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
