Your Mission
Infinity Ward is currently looking for an Associate Artist I (Temporary).
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Create tiling environment materials that adhere to photorealism, regardless of technique used
• Ability to produce all necessary textures to create a tiling material (albedo, normal, spec, gloss, etc.)
• Take direction from Art Director and Leads when creating material assets
• Work closely with the Environment Artists to create materials that fit their needs
• Utilize good judgement when establishing optimal texture resolution
Player Profile
Minimum Requirements:
• Solid understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) workflow
• Experience with Photogrammetry or basic understanding a plus
• Strong sense of composition and an ability to understand the difference between high, medium, and low frequency details
• Comfortable working in Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop and Zbrush.
• Knowledge of a 3D modeling software (Maya, Max, etc.)
• Basic modeling and UV layout skills
• Understand how to bake from High Poly to Low poly

• Ability to accept criticism and feedback
• Able to change your work based on notes
• Comfortable being part of a team of artists
• Willingness to improve and learn new skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
