UI Designer - Mobile

Industrial Toys, located in Pasadena, is growing and generating buzz in the mobile games industry. Building on hard-won knowledge as an indie studio, we've joined forces with EA to realize our vision of what it means to be ''Mobile to The Core!''

Responsibilities
• Ability to execute a consistent UI vision, accurate to the intended design
• Iterate using player feedback to optimize for simplicity, comprehension, and function
• Help shape the game's visual language by providing players with intuitive ways to interact with the game
• Collaborate with UX Designers, Art Directors, and Engineers to create user interface screens, transitions, and animations
• Meets deadlines and handles various tasks and priorities
• Dedicated to learning and developing your skills to the next level

Qualifications
• 3-6years of experience in UI Visual Design, Graphic Design or related field
• Empathetic and pragmatic thinking
• Experienced designing and implementing UI artwork in mobile
• Understands core challenges of mobile UI from an artistic and technical perspective
• Strong visual design skills and an understanding of usability design principles
• Self-motivated, collaborative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude and an ability to receive and provide objective feedback
• Awareness of current trends in user interface design
• A passion for playing and making awesome mobile games
• Strong with Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software
• Experience with Sketch, Adobe XD or similar a plus
• Experience with UE4 or Unity a plus
• A portfolio demonstrating all aspects of your craft is required
