The Partnership between SPL, SAFF, and IMG:
The Saudi Pro League (SPL) and Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) have announced a new five-year production partnership with IMG, a global sports, events, and representation company, for the Roshn Saudi League (RSL), King's Cup, and Saudi Super Cup, starting from the 2024-25 season.
The 2024-25 season broadcast of the RSL, King's Cup, and Saudi Super Cup will feature more dynamic storytelling and captivating content that highlights the excitement of the matches and celebrates the rich culture and passion that drive the sport.
IMG will also help SPL and SAFF to implement advanced remote production technologies, allowing leading producers to oversee matches across multiple cities on the same day, ensuring that the highest production standards are maintained regardless of location.
What You'll Do:
IMG are seeking a dynamic Production Manager to join our Studios business and support our new partnership with the Saudi Pro League based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be r esponsible for the management of the production of the Live Matches, including budgets, personnel, logistics, health and safety, working in collaboratively with the editorial team, production staff and cross-departments (e.g. – Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management etc.) to ensure appropriate planning and decision-making regarding budgetary and operational execution.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a long-term fixed-term contract dependent on local employment regulations, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabi. You will be required to work weekends and unsocial hours when needed and will be required to travel within KSA, across the various match locations/stadiums.
This position will include a relocation package.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
• Managing day-to-day production logistics for a number of matches, ensuring they are produced efficiently, on budget and adhere to compliance and H&S guidelines.
• Main point of contact for other ad hoc productions – Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.
• Manage programme budgets, cost reports, forecasts and prepare a quarterly finance report for Production executive & Production accountant.
• In conjunction with the Production Executive and Senior Producers work on the schedule, planning for SPL departments, ensuring that staffing needs of all programmes are met.
• Work with internal departments (e.g. legal, HR, finance, immigration) to ensure all staffing, suppliers and freelacers have secured all necessary visas and work permits, as required.
• Develop an effective relationship with external facility providers and suppliers, ensuring regular communication, and able to troubleshoot issues and potential delays.
• Responsible for the dissemination of production reports; including knowing what the information means, gaps that require discussion and trends that appear.
• Attend meetings with Executive Producer, Production Executive, Producers and Directors, to ensure that the schedule is moving forward and/or specific issues are addressed and/or escalated.
• Run production meetings to ensure clear communication, dissemination of information, acknowledge accomplishments and discuss challenges.
• Advise the Production Executive/Head of Production of any potential problems or issues, particularly those impacting schedule and budget, and come prepared with proposed solutions
• Provide mentorship and opportunities for growth for production staff, including delegating targeted tasks and empowering production staff to take on additional responsibilities if required.
• Active management of a team of Production Co-ordinators and Assistants
• Be transparent regarding pertinent issues and concerns with staff and freelancers and show leadership.
• When relevant and appropriate, convey departmental initiatives to staff and freelance crew.
• Work to establish new processes, procedures and methods that improve production systems and outcomes and overall workflow
• Support producers' day-to-day or shoot-specific operational demands as directed ensuring Risk Assessments are properly created and adhered to.
• In conjunction with the Production Executive, Executive Producer and Technical Manager ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and appropriate plans and paperwork are in place.
• Ensure all freelancers are contracted correctly as per local and relevant guidelines.
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
• Experience of dealing with broadcasters, stakeholders and a range of personnel.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to produce a production budget.
• Some knowledge of responsibilities in relation to rights and clearances, production work flows, insurance and health and safety.
• Experience of dealing with broadcasters, stakeholders and a range of personnel.

• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good client liaison skills.
• Health & Safety Production Training.

• Fluency in Arabic is highly advantageous, but not essential.
