What You'll Do:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Producer to join IMG's dynamic EFL Production Department, primarily focusing on the ITV Highlights Show with potential involvement in other EFL productions. In this role, you'll work closely with the show Producer to produce fast-turnaround match highlights and reports. You'll provide editorial support, manage research, and coordinate production schedules. The role also includes producing and directing on-site camera crews, contributing to content planning and ideation, and even stepping in for the Producer when needed.

We're looking for someone with a deep knowledge of the Football League, experience in stitch-producing, and the ability to manage multiple edit suites simultaneously. You'll need to be comfortable working under tight deadlines, ensuring all production activities adhere to compliance guidelines, and overseeing all Health & Safety matters.

Please Note: This is a fixed-term contract until the end of May 2025, based at our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. The role requires working evenings, weekends, and unsocial hours, specifically on Wednesdays & Saturdays. You will also need to travel to EFL stadia as part of the job.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
• Working in close conjunction with the show Producer, the Assistant Producer will oversee and produce fast turnaround match highlights and match reports for the ITV EFL Highlights show.
• Provide editorial support with research and archive materials and statistics.
• Assist with the preparation of the production schedule, alongside the Producer and Production Coordinator.
• Produce and direct talent and cameras with ENG on-site camera crew.
• Planning, ideation and producing feature content.
• Subject to experience, provide cover in the Producers absence.
• Able to manage several edit suites all running simultaneously.
• Responsible for adhering to compliance guidelines for broadcaster/client as appropriate
• Responsible for all matters of Health & Safety for the production and supervising all shoot Risk Assessments.
• Comfortable working to extremely tight deadlines.
• Responsible for adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Experience writing links and scripts.
• Extensive knowledge of Football League.
• Experience and knowledge of stitch-producing.
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

You Will Have The Following Strengths:
• Experience as an Assistant Producer in live and post-production.
• Specialist knowledge of the EFL, or football.
• Experience of writing scripts.
• Experience of edit producing a variety of programming formats
• Experience of dealing with Talent (e.g. presenters, commentators, voice over artists)
• Experience of working on a wide range of sports programming, including quick turnaround highlights, documentaries, magazine shows.
