Project Manager, Creative

Job Description

Illumination is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Creative for style guide creation, Global Softlines product development, and Gaming to join our Marketing team. This unique role combines extraordinary organization skills with an eye toward details and creative deliverables. This position will guide, collaborate and communicate daily with a dynamic creative team at Illumination, Illumination Studios Paris and our partners at Universal as well as potential partners and agencies.

Style Guide / Global Softlines Product Development:
• Partner with Creative leads to ensure seamless management and tracking of global film & franchise guides from inception to final assets delivery
• Manage the development process of logos, character poses, patterns, graphics, design, patterns, product samples, etc.
• Help facilitate and manage Global Softlines product development submissions
• Maintain current project list/job status sheet for all style guide project
• Support the management of workload of internal design team and outside vendors
• Track deliverables against production timelines & schedulesCommunicate delivery dates to key stakeholders

Creative Budget:
• Track Creative expenses for all projects
• Request estimates from vendors and create Cost Summaries
• Process invoices

Project Management:
• Partner with VP, Creative re: agenda for weekly Tuesday meetings
• Notes and Recap of weekly meetings
• Lead weekly CPG Team meeting
• Track follow-ups from weekly meetings
• Special projects
• Other duties as needed

Gaming:
• Partner with Director of Business Development andVP of Development & Creative Strategy to ensure seamless management and review of multiple gaming platform submissions
• Maintain current project list/job status for all projects on Airtable
• Manage the development process of all assets for gaming
• Support the management of workload of Director of Business Development, VP of Development & Creative Strategy and outside vendors
• Facilitate character art development
• Track deliverables against production timelines & schedules

Qualifications:
• 5+ years related experience
• Licensing Creative Development preferred
• Product development cycle experience in softlines, toys or related goods desired
• Strategic, critical thinker and creative problem solver
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated & enjoy a fast-paced changing environment
• Curious collaborator who likes to brainstorm, contribute and participate in ideation
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and/or Keynote
• Proficient in Adobe Suite specifically but not exclusively Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat
• Proficient in Airtable and Lucidchart
• BA/BS or equivalent experience

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$95,000/year. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and an offer will consider various factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and training.
