Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Networks operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).
Office locations include New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Stamford, CT.

Job Description

The Art Director will develop and execute best-in-class multiplatform static design for A+E marketing content.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Develop and execute brand and series campaign design elements including but not limited to:
• Key art
• Logo design
• Print and OOH
• Paid social and digital advertising campaigns
• Branded collateral
• Develop and execute on day-to-day design projects
• Develop and pitch ideas and overcome challenges to execute elevated aesthetics.
• Brief agencies (and other creatives) to inspire them to create effective, innovative work within the context of your projects.
• Receive, interpret, and execute effectively against all feedback.
• Work to fulfill multiple projects, delivery schedules and campaign elements –including needs for broadcast, off channel/paid media, affiliate, PR, and consumer products.
• Manage photoshoots as necessary
• Liaise with internal and external clients as necessary
• Manage freelance designers as necessary

THE SKILLS YOU'LL NEED:
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software and industry standard programs
• Highly proficient in industry standard file formats and deliverables for both Print/Online Advertising
• Proficient knowledge in pre-press, 4 color process.
• Highly proficient in color theory, typography, textures, and spatial relationships
• Proficiency in managing photoshoots
• Foundational knowledge in front end design / UI and UX
• Foundational knowledge in programming languages (E.G. CSS and HTML)
• Foundational knowledge in content management systems (E.G. WordPress)

YOUR STORY
• Resume must include a link to your portfolio/sample work in order to be considered
• 6+ years' experience working in production design
• Ability to tell a powerful story through still images
• Can multitask handling a large volume of work and be able to pivot effectively.
• Present and articulate ideas and issues to the team effectively​
• Can receive, interpret, ​ and execute effectively against all feedback​.
• Impeccable attention to detail​

Compensation

Annual Pay Range: $102,868 - $134,026

Annual Incentive Target: 12.50%

The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the

minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will

be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills,

competencies, location, and experience. A+E offers a competitive total compensation
