We are seeking a dedicated Lead Gameplay Engineer to oversee gameplay development. As the Lead Gameplay Engineer you will work closely with content teams to push our gameplay systems to new heights of fun and visual fidelity by crafting new systems and leveraging existing ones to realize immersive and exciting gameplay. This is a great opportunity to lead and mentor a passionate engineering team in working on one of the world's most popular game franchises with Call of Duty!

What you'll be doing…
• Lead engineers of varying experience levels, defining their goals and schedules for the project
• Collaborate with designers and animators to build new gameplay systems and expand existing ones
• Spearhead the development of innovative gameplay experiences
• Implement, debug and optimize major systems in C/C++ and other languages in the context of a large cross platform codebase
• Be a trusted gatekeeper for performance, efficiency and quality

To succeed you must have…
• Excellent C++ programming skills, with knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Proficiency in 3D math, related to game programming
• Strong design sensibilities and outstanding interpersonal skills
• A passion for making video games
• A desire to mentor and lead other engineers
• Experience extending an established code base
• 6+ years of proven experience in games
• 1+ shipped title as a Lead or Senior gameplay engineer
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Math related field

We'd love it if you also have…
• Experience with scripting languages
• Experience with console development
• Experience as managing or mentoring other engineers
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Player or weapon mechanics, particularly in an FPS
• Animation – blend trees, IK, motion matching
• Networked game logic
• Physics or vehicle simulation
• AI
