Temporary Visual Editor, Elle Decor
Partner with the Elle Decor Visual Team on all photo shoots and photo research.
Resonsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with editors and the Art Department on all shoots and photo research for print and digital.
• Commission photographers and oversee all aspects of shoot production, with a focus on home interior photography, requiring a visual editor with expertise in this area.
• Attend photo shoots and provide on-set art direction.
• Source and coordinate props for shoots.
• Manage budgets and shoot estimates.
• Handle all production logistics, including invoices, credits, estimates, advances, contracts, call sheets, and insurance.
• Assist with image processing and asset management, including metadata application, image archiving, and PDF creation.
Qualifications:
• Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years producing home interior shoots.
• Must have photo research experience.
• Must have working knowledge of the home interior photo landscape.
The base salary for this role is $40/hr. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
