Temporary Fashion Month Assistant
The Fashion Month Assistant will work closely with senior editors, market directors, and fashion staff to keep calendars, travel, and show logistics running seamlessly.
Resonsibilities:
Show & Calendar Coordination
• Maintain and update fashion week calendars across multiple cities and time zones.
• Track invitations, RSVPs, show locations, and schedule changes in real time.
• Ensure editors are briefed on daily show schedules and last-minute updates.
Travel & Logistics
• Assist with booking and managing flights, hotels, and ground transportation for editors and staff.
• Create and update detailed travel itineraries for each market.
• Coordinate with hotels, car services, and fashion PR teams to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.
Communication & Liaison
• Serve as a point of contact between Harper's Bazaar and fashion PR teams, show producers, and brand representatives.
• Confirm attendance, seating, and access for shows and events.
• Relay time-sensitive updates to editors, assistants, and leadership.
Administrative & Team Support
• Maintain shared documents, spreadsheets, and calendars for fashion month logistics.
• Assist with expense tracking and documentation related to travel and events.
• Provide real-time problem solving during fashion week as schedules shift.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in fashion, media, PR, production, or event coordination (internships welcome).
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple schedules at once.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, shared calendars, and spreadsheets.
• Interest in fashion and familiarity with the fashion week ecosystem is a plus.
The base salary for this role is $18/hr. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
