Senior Manager, Partnerships (Social Media)

The Partnerships team is looking for a Senior Manager of Partnerships. The individual in this role will manage our relationships with high-profile platforms, including but not limited to Snapchat and Google. They will have a proven track record of understanding business goals and creating impactful strategies to achieve them. This position reports into the Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development.

The ideal candidate is a generalist in the partnership space, with experience managing a wide-range of partners and overseeing everything from partner management and content distribution to data-fueled optimizations and internal and external communications. Additionally, this candidate should be self-starter with a firm grasp of social platforms and the general media landscape. You should be highly organized, resourceful and proactive, and must possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

What you'll do
• Manage and grow key partnerships, including Snapchat, Google and others, while helping to maximize growth on all platforms.
• Maintain excellent partner communications and relationship management while constantly working to improve performance and identify additional growth opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with editorial, sales and other stakeholders, sharing partnership insights, establishing and discussing best practices, implementing content strategy, and managing feedback between internal teams and partners.
• Help drive innovative projects and initiatives in partnerships with stakeholders in editorial and product teams, with an ability to outline plans for success.
• Work with creative video teams, specifically in production & post-production, for social video needs, creative feedback, and performance data.
• Work with editorial/video teams on pitching new content to partners like Snap, owning the process from ideation management to posting and optimizing.
• Be the main POC for partners, including setting agendas and running update meetings.
• Oversee reporting and insights across partners to maximize engagement and monetization.

Who you are
• Minimum 4+ years experience working in partnerships, social/video partnerships or audience development in publishing, digital or video space.
• Strategic thinker who can use data to drive business results.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent time and project management skills.
• Experience with Snapchat Story Studio, Facebook Creator Studio, and other publishing tools.
• Extremely adept at problem-solving and exceptionally detail oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong familiarity with our media brands and content.
• Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
