Senior Finance Manager, Advertising and Affiliate Revenue

Hearst Magazines seeks a strong Senior Finance Manager who is responsible for advertising, affiliate, and partner revenue reporting, forecasting, and month-end close reconciliation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and prioritize tasks. High competency of key computer programs including Excel and PowerPoint is a must. The ability to manage multiple tasks and stay on deadline are required in this role. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, fast learner, and motivated to go above and beyond what is expected. Senior Finance Manager must also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:

Who You Are:
• Bachelor's degree in finance or similar field
• Minimum 7 years of financial or business management experience in the publishing or media
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly convey recommendations and conclusions to senior leadership
• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to work with accuracy and meet deadlines
• Highly organized with strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Must be highly collaborative and have strong interpersonal skills to positively communicate with all levels of staff
• Strong Excel skills are required, must be fluent (including pivot tables, look up functions)
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), and/or Smartview a plus

The base salary for this role is between $110,000 and $135,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
