Job Description
Hearst Magazines is seeking a Sales Planner to work within our healthcare vertical that is focused on generating ad revenue for all pharmaceutical accounts across 27 of our brands. The ideal candidate is a team player, has a strong foundation in digital media, advertising, social, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment. You will be a part of
the team that provides value to our advertisers and sellers who are generating ideas and concepts to solve our client's goals through our deeply rooted storytelling and insights.
What you'll do:
• Manage requests and create proposals for RFP's to meet advertiser and category
• objectives
• Provide white-glove customer service and develop relationships for agency partners and
• clients
• Grow and manage a book of business alongside Group Advertising Director
• Collaborate and brainstorm with Hearst Media Solutions teams along with the Integrated
• Brand sales and marketing teams for the creation of proactive and strategic proposals
• Work with sales and marketing teams to interpret and develop media plans based on
• campaign KPIs and sales strategy
• Maintain Salesforce updates for print and digital and enter media plan details into
• required systems
• Modify client presentation templates for select digital campaigns as well as track
• positioning for print
• Manage insertion order approval and confirm layout
Who you are:
• 1 year of media planning or ad agency experience
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a ''can-do'' attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior attention to detail and timely follow-through
• Working knowledge of Salesforce is preferred
• Proficient in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Excel
