Job Description
The Manager, HR Systems Support & Solutions will support the Hearst Magazines division in various functions and process improvements across the Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) system. Areas of focus will include recruiting, onboarding, HR Core, learning management, performance management, and others.

This role will be responsible for interfacing directly with employees and HR, as well as working with the centralized HCM Operations team who oversees all facets of the HCM system.

Resonsibilities:
• Become well-versed in dashboards and reports centrally available to help support business operations; help to identify gaps in available reporting; manage new reporting requirements and requests; promote available reports to end users.
• Gather requirements for changes in business process or policies which impact system functionality and see changes through to implementation.
• Develop job aids/user guides for division-specific business processes; translate technical requirements into consumable information for non-technical stakeholders.
• Own project plan(s), ensuring key milestones are met by tracking and monitoring progress on all projects assigned.
• Provide end-user support for HCM functions.
• Proactively monitor user support issues to identify patterns-including recurring questions about functionality or documentation-and interface with the training and technical teams to address root cause(s).
• Identify gaps in systems and processes and advocate for alternative solutions to meet the needs of the business.
• Coordinate testing for new functionality or annual deployments, such as performance management.
• Coordinate training for new users or those requiring retraining.
• Assist with other departmental initiatives, as required.

Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience with information systems with a technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product preferred.
• Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure that organizational needs and goals are met.
• High degree of discretion and confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft office proficiency, with advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with dashboards, reporting, analysis, and Power BI.

This role requires the position to be located in New York with an in-office presence of 2+ days a week.

The base salary for this role is between $95,000 to $115,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
