Job Description
The Good Housekeeping Institute is looking for a motivated, technically savvy, resourceful, creative, detail-oriented individual to join its team as a Lab Assistant. This unique, junior-level, cross-functional role involves supporting testing and lab output across a wide range of consumer product categories - including but not limited to electronics, toys, home appliances, kitchen gear, textiles, cars, smart gadgets, fitness devices, and cleaning and personal care tools.

The ideal candidate has a background in analytical processes and a passion for trying the latest, greatest consumer products. The ideal candidate will be excited to work with the scientists, engineers, editors and analysts in the iconic Good Housekeeping Institute, helping to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure accuracy of testing and reporting. You will work closely with lab teams to implement and support all proprietary test procedures, write or manage test reports and support and maintain various databases and digital products. This position reports to the Good Housekeeping Institute's Chief Technologist.
