Job Description
Hearst's Enthusiast Group is seeking a highly organized, deadline- and detail-oriented Editorial Business Manager to work closely with all brands in the group-BestProducts.com, Bicycling, Biography.com, Popular Mechanics, and Runner's World. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating long-term production schedules and coordinating, managing, and enforcing deadlines for both print and digital content-above all else prioritizing and elevating the quality of our print and digital products.

This role follows a hybrid model, in-office 3 days per week, and is based in our Easton, PA, office. We will not be able to consider remote candidates.

Resonsibilities:

What You'll Do:
• Assist the Director of Operations with various tasks related to print- and digital-issue production.
• Work closely with the Editorial Business Assistant and Administrative Assistant to oversee the processing and tracking of assignment orders, contracts, and invoices.
• Develop and manage editorial calendars and production schedules, tracking both day-to-day assignments and larger projects.
• Help staff prioritize, ensuring all deadlines are met for both print and digital, including Apple News+.
• Coordinate with fact checkers/researchers and editors/writers to ensure all content is factually accurate and checked in a timely manner.
• Consistently look for innovative and creative ways to improve workflow.

Qualifications:

Who You Are:
• 3+ years of relevant editorial/managing experience at a consumer magazine, website, or brand; experience in project management a plus.
• A deadline- and detail-oriented mind is a must.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solver who is able to work with different personalities and has the ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud-specifically InDesign, InCopy, WoodWing, and Acrobat Pro-is a plus.

The base salary for this role is between $66,600-$70,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
