Account Manager for Commerce Media will be a central figure in managing partnerships affiliate partners, as well as being the primary contact with the sales team for all Commerce Media and Content opportunities. The Account Manager will spearhead calls with top affiliate partners and work directly with the sales team on commerce advertising opportunities.

What you'll do:
• Lead affiliate performance optimization: Conduct monthly calls with premium partners, analyze results, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and engagement.
• Bridge the gap between commerce and sales: Act as the primary liaison, educating the sales team on commerce media, qualifying leads, and recommending top partners.
• Proactively expand our network: Assess potential advertising partners for fit; present compelling proposals to the sales team to onboard new commerce content and media opportunities.
• Deliver data-driven insights: Create comprehensive affiliate performance reports and analyze commerce content campaigns using Excel, Looker, Trackonomics, Skimlinks, etc.
• Drive adoption of commerce media: Collaborate with sales professionals, HOIs, and segment leads to uncover new revenue-generating opportunities.
• Partner for success: Work closely with affiliate, LIFT, and editorial commerce teams to optimize campaigns, amplify promotions, and execute product launches effectively.
Qualifications:
Who you are:
• 3-5 years of affiliate or performance marketing experience in a publisher or network environment.
• Proven relationship builder: Track record of successful client management in advertising or affiliate marketing.
• Data expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel and analytics tools (Looker, Trackonomics, Skimlinks, etc.).
• Communicator and collaborator: Ability to convey insights clearly and build cross-functional partnerships.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: Eager to drive innovation in a fast-paced, startup-like division within Hearst.
• Strategic thinker: Analyze trends and identify opportunities to scale commerce initiatives.
• CMS and affiliate network knowledge: A significant advantage.
This role requires the position to be located in New York, NY with an in-office presence of 3 days a week.
The base salary for this role is between $74,000 to $78,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
