As an Account Executive, you will be expected to work both at the station as well as outside of the station making sales calls and/or visiting with clients or potential clients. In this hybrid position, you will meet with clients in-person and have capabilities for zoom/video conference meetings as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Grow revenue by breaking new business and growing existing business
• Establish strategic relationships with clients and agency teams
• Conduct 5-7 client meetings per week
• Evangelize full suite of Hearst Digital's advertising solutions
• Develop proactive and requested marketing programs based on insights
• Effectively collaborate with multiple departments to achieve objectives and optimize revenue through strategic and creative means.
• Generate revenue that meets or exceeds budget
• Have a solid understanding of marketplace needs based on client feedback

Requirements:
• 3-5 years digital advertising sales & agency experience preferred
• Client-focused seller who has experience in online/digital media sales preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills: Ability to communicate complex technical features in simple terms.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter with ability to work in a matrixed organization and thrive in a highly-collaborative, team-based environment.
• Strong analytical ability for strategic sales development, including interpretation of media research and analysis for effective use as a sales tool.
• A confident, tenacious, diplomatic, and collaborative work style.
• Goal oriented with the ability to be organized and prioritize.
• Existing relationships with buying community a plus.
