Meet Our Team:
The Global Cloud Device Farm Engineering team designs, builds, and operates a highly scalable, cloud-native platform and integrations to third party cloud farm providers that enable automated testing across real and virtual devices globally. We deliver Device Farm as a Service (DFaaS), providing on-demand device access, queuing, test orchestration, and advanced reporting capabilities to automation and quality engineering teams.
Our work spans distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, software libraries, and API / microservice development, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance optimization. We engineer solutions that integrate seamlessly with our in-house test automation framework & libraries, CI/CD pipelines, supporting thousands of concurrent test executions across diverse platforms and environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:
We are hiring Software Developer II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building software libraries, APIs, Cloud infrastructure & integrations and tools, strike a balance between engineering excellence and test quality, architect and develop solutions across multiple delivery pipelines, and establish best practices & processes which improve developer efficiencies and product quality.
The ideal candidate will also have a track record of having worked with multiple cross-functional teams and the ability to handle multiple initiatives as part of the overall product release pipeline. You are a key influencer in your team's strategy and contribute significantly to team planning. You show good judgment making trade-offs between immediate and long-term business needs. You are a collaborative partner that makes other team members around you more productive, by sharing your knowledge, and helping to tie-break key technical decisions. You provide mentoring to others.
Scope and Complexity: You have acquired subject-matter expertise over one or more production software systems and demonstrated a pattern of shipping high quality feature changes in that or those system(s)
Decision Making: You solve business problems with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices. You are able to lead the design and development of the most complex enhancements.
Execution: You have built multiple stable, scalable feature changes that have been successfully shipped to customers in production.
Operations: Your work and your approach to work are exemplary: you drive best practices and set standards for your team. You are a role model to other teams. Your software contributions in production are the model of highly available, low latency, and efficient software. Your documentation in code, on technical designs, and operations provide clarity to any engineer interacting with your software or its code.
Influence: You are a collaborative leader that makes other engineers and team members around you more productive, by sharing your knowledge, and helping to tie-break key technical decisions. You provide mentoring to other engineers.
Communication: You are an effective communicator as exemplified by your technical documentation, and your interactions with stakeholders and adjacent teams. You can effectively represent the technical decisions from your team to senior stakeholders as well as communicate well enough with the team.
What to Bring:
• 2+ years of experience in software application development building software libraries, APIs , frameworks and tools; Brings in high proficiency and technical leadership
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python or other similar programming languages
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• 2+ experience working on cloud technologies like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience working on CI/CD delivery model using Github actions, Armory or any other tools
• Experience working with Rest APIs, gRPC
• Experience working with different device types and operating systems such as Windows, OSX, iOS, tvOS, Android, Roku, FireTV, Xbox, Playstation, Tizen, WebOS & SetTop boxes
• Experience or exposure in automation frameworks like Appium, Selenium, Suitest and other similar frameworks
• Nice to have exposure / experience working with device farms like BrowserStack, SauceLab, AWS Device farm, HeadSpin
• Exposure to working on Grafana and other reporting tools
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
• Understanding of multiple test types including unit, functional, integration, end to end, security, performance, load, contract test automation and UI tests including test runners like Cucumber/BDD testing
• Well versed with Scrum methodologies, Jira, defect life cycle, version control tools
• Able to drive and steer discussions and meetings to achieve desired goals
• Able to collaborate and work with development teams across multiple time zones and locations
• Ability to focus both strategically and tactically to achieve business goals, including the use of data to drive improvements
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $94,000 - $X144,000 salary per year.
