Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET)

Global Quality Assurance (GQA) promotes a shift-left approach and provides standardized process and tools to enhance the quality of applications for various WBD brands in News, Sports, and Entertainment verticals.
Your Role Accountabilities...
We work closely with our brand partners and act as a center of expertise, best practice, and continuous improvement in the field of quality engineering. Quality is owned by the entire team. GQA Engineers are the frontline owners of the quality processes, including the process of development, testing, and delivery.
Qualifications and Experience...
• 5+ years of experience, knowledge of various test activities across release pipelines to promote artifacts from dev to prod, including unit testing, regression testing, UI/ API testing, etc.
• Experience with streaming workflows across platforms: Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV,LG TV and gaming consoles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong with analyzing logs, crashes, and error reports to triage issues.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and drive resolution.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $91,000.00 - $137,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
