The Job

International Television Distribution licenses WarnerMedia content outside of the US and Canada. This includes programmes from HBO (e.g. Game of Thrones, Succession & Euphoria) and Warner Bros. (e.g. Wonder Woman, Tenet, Harry Potter, Friends, Gossip Girl and Rick & Morty).

The Commercial Strategy team works closely with Management, Sales, Legal and Marketing teams to develop and implement WarnerMedia's content sales strategy and support the broader objectives of the company.

The team provides strategic, commercial, analytical and research support to all sales activity (to traditional broadcasters as well as to local & global streamers), leads negotiation of multi-territory deals with the likes of Netflix and Amazon as well managing certain local client relationships.

The Senior Analyst gathers and evaluates on demand and linear viewing data and undertakes financial / other analysis of content sales deals to support International Television Distribution teams based outside of the US and Canada.

The Daily
• Work with clients, external ratings / research companies and internal teams to gather on demand and linear TV viewing data as well as insights from general industry reports.
• Analyse viewing data and share insights with Management, Sales and Marketing teams via regular and ad hoc reports.
• Support the development and execution of sales strategies across multiple international markets.
• Undertake financial analysis of new and existing content sales deals.
• Manage database of overnight and consolidated linear TV ratings in EMEA region.
• Prepare monthly reports showing viewing of WarnerMedia content on local & global streamers.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects to support Sales Executives and Management with negotiations with key broadcasters and streamers.
• Train and manage TV Research Intern to support selected tasks above.

The Essentials
• Relevant experience in research, data analysis and / or content acquisition / sales.
• Strong interest in the entertainment industry.
• Good understanding of content sales processes.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Significant experience of working with Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.

The Nice to Haves
• Thorough knowledge of extracting and analysing TV ratings data.
• European languages are an advantage.
