Manager, Audio Description and Mastering

As Project Manager of Audio Description and Mastering, you will play an integral role on the HBO & HBO MAX Content Enhancement team. The Content Enhancement team specializes in creating program content assets required for streaming, broadcast, and distribution platforms. Specifically, you will manage all Audio Description needs for the HBO branded original content as needed for the HBO MAX streaming platform. Additionally, you will work with the HBO Mastering team to ensure projects are delivered on time and tracked through to final approval for platform use.

Audio Description Duties:
• Effectively manage multiple AD projects simultaneously
• Fully comprehend and effectively communicate project specifications to vendors
• Communicate delivery schedules to internal teams and vendors, ensuring agreed schedules are adhered to
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure vendor's needs are covered
• Ensure on-time, on-budget deliveries of all projects
• Manage rejections and handle redeliveries as needed
• Ensure all tracking charts remain up-to-date and that status of all projects is always available
• Manage orders, including creation of Purchase Orders, and ensure all invoices are handled in a timely manner
• Assess the current AD workflow and make recommendations for improvement where needed

Additional Mastering Duties:
• Working as a part of a bi-coastal team, manage delivery schedule of projects from Production Services to internal QC
• Communicate with internal teams as deliveries are expected
• Track QC status and maintain project grids
• Coordinate on-time delivery of all projects and any required fixes or redeliveries
• Additional duties as required

Requirements:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong, pro-active communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, large scale and high-level projects and tasks
• Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Self-starter, independent learner, pro-active team player
• 5 + years' experience working in the entertainment industry; post facility experience is preferred
• BS/BA degree preferred
• Knowledge of or experience in Audio Description a plus
