Job Description/Summary:

A videographer/storyteller position is now available at WMC-TV in Memphis, TN. Here's your chance to capture and tell the stories of the communities we serve and be part of a #1 newsroom.

Duties/Responsibilities include, (but are not limited to):
- We have an immediate opening for a full-time Videographer/Journalist to work with reporters and independently as a member of our news team.
- We need someone with a creative eye, technical expertise, and a can-do attitude.
- You'll also need to understand the importance of visual composition, natural sound, and quality lighting.
- The successful candidate must be able to deliver great videos daily in our very competitive market.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism/communications with videography and non-linear editing preferred
- Proven experience as a digital video storyteller with strong camera and editing skills.
- Proven team player who wants to win every day.
- A demo reel is required
- Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines
- Must be energetic, positive, and great to work with
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
