Job Summary/Description:

Tupelo Honey seeks a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will primarily work on a weekly syndicated political program, assembling broadcast content from multiple studio cameras and external contribution sources, including LiveU, TVU, Zoom, Skype, etc. Individual will work closely with producers based in Washington DC.

Schedule typically includes lengthy edit sessions taking place on Thursday and Friday, with occasional Saturdays required. Additional edit projects for Tupelo Honey sales/marketing initiatives and additional client work is possible.

Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Excellent communication with operations and production personnel
• Editing and delivery of broadcast program and related digital content under tight deadlines
• Creation of graphics as instructed by producer(s)

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Previous experience as a video editor with strict attention to detail
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro X), Adobe After Effects and related multimedia tools
• Creative and artistic skills
• Ability to work efficiently and with a tight schedule
• Ability to translate ideas into complete projects
