KXII is looking to fill a Technical Director position in our Sherman, Texas studio to direct local newscasts and lead our production team.
Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
* Directing over the air content such as: news, severe weather, etc.
* Running live newscast graphics
* Creating news graphics for air
* Training and leading a news production team
* Learning and working with Master Control
* Quality control over any all broadcast material
2 years minimum experience in live program directing for broadcast television is required. The ability to work in a live, fast paced environment is required. Strong leadership skills, accuracy, attention to detail and a team oriented attitude are mandatory. College or technical degrees are strongly considered.
