REGIONAL SALES MGR. - AUTOMOTIVE (REMOTE/USA) - REVD (Gray Media Group)

About Gray Automotive:

Automotive solutions provides marketing and advertising for automotive clients. The Automotive team works directly with local station sales teams to develop and grow both new and incremental revenue.

Job Summary/Description:

The automotive solutions team at Gray Media seeks a regional sales manager who is responsible for selling cross-platform solutions on the Gray television and digital platforms, with a clear focus on the automotive industry. The regional sales manager will work closely with assigned Gray TV stations. RSM will serve as the liaison between company, client and station with the responsibility of formulating strategies to meet the clients marketing goals.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and research for client meetings, working closely with the sales teams at each station
- Manage, track and optimize account performance to maximize client satisfaction and renewal business
- Identify clients' needs by listening and probing during discussions of their objectives and strategies
- Study the competitive environment and build knowledge of clients' business
- Reacts to change productively and handles other essential tasks as assigned all while working in a fast paced environment
- Execute a proven sales model
- Invest in a long-term commitment to team and business growth, all while supporting company goals and objectives
- Travel to station sites for meetings. This position requires extensive travel (over 50% of the time)

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications or equivalent expertise in Automotive Industry
- Multi-platforms sales background
- 3+ years experience as a sales/marketing representative for a media/agency company or at dealership
- Strong knowledge of television, digital and automotive industries
- Creative & strategic, with the ability to thrive creating custom presentations
- Must be able to work well in a team environment, and work well with other departments, especially the production, ad operations, and content teams
- Excellent negotiating and closing skills
- Proven track record in achieving/exceeding sales goals.
