Job Summary/Description:

KEYC-TV, a multi-network affiliate in Mankato, MN, has an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes in the television industry as a Newscast Director.

Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:
- Serve as an audio technician, assistant director or director for all productions
- Availability for evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
- Work efficiently with little supervision
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
- Must have excellent communication skills and get along well with co-workers
- Understanding of all equipment in studio and production areas
- Work closely with other departments to meet all daily demands
- Training of new personnel as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Applicant should have a career interest, training, and/or experience in the television broadcast industry.
- Computer experience and willingness to learn are a must. Experience in televison prodcution is preferred, but training will be provided.
- A successful applicant will be dependable, focused, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure with strict deadlines and have strong multi-tasking skills.
- Needs to work and communicate well with others, but also be a self-starter.
