NEWSCAST DIRECTOR (F/T) - WEEK

About WEEK:

WEEK-TV is an award-winning station that leads the community in local news coverage and community involvement. It operates a number of TV stations in the Peoria, IL television market including WEEK 25 (NBC), Heart of Illinois ABC, and Peoria-Bloomington's CW.

Job Summary/Description:

WEEK-TV, the NBC/ABC/CW in Peoria, Illinois, is looking for a full-time director to oversee out top rated newscasts. Directors will use Ross Overdrive Automation to director our fast paced newscasts.

Whether you're a TV production veteran or fresh out of school, this is the perfect job to jumpstart your broadcasting career. You'll be first in line to advance your career at our TV station or at one of 100+ Gray Television stations.

Responsibilities include directing the WEEK-TV newscasts, creating graphics, and working with the news department to produce our award-winning product.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Candidates must have a strong technical knowledge of using software and hardware, good communication skills and be able to cooperate with a supportive team with strong ethical values. Experience directing newscasts or similar production experience is a plus.
