NEWS PRODUCER (4/Day Work Week) - WXIX

About WXIX:

WXIX-TV, FOX19 NOW, is the FOX affiliate serving Cincinnati and the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana tri-state area, the nation's 37th DMA. FOX19 NOW, the station that's ''Always Local, Always Now,'' produces over 61 hours of News per week. FOX19 NOW is the leader in Morning News with local coverage from 4:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. each weekday The station airs early evening news 4 to 7 p.m. weekdays and the market's #1 (A25-54) late, local News starting at 10:00 to 11:30 p.m. FOX19 NOW's community involvement includes The St. Jude Dream Home, The Alzheimer's Association, The Pink Ribbon Girls and Special Olympics of Northern Kentucky, among others. We're proud to serve the community on multiple platforms, and broadcast some of the most popular programming in the Tri-State, including NFL on FOX, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy! and the FOX prime time schedule.

Job Summary/Description:

WXIX-TV, Cincinnati, has an immediate opening for a News Producer. We are looking for a talented and creative news producer who knows how to win in a very competitive news market. This is a 4 day work week position!

Love news, but want a little more work/life balance? WXIX-TV, Cincinnati, has an immediate opening for a full time News Producer, but with an extra day off, every week! We are looking for a talented and creative news producer who knows how to win in a very competitive news market. The successful candidate must be a strong writer with excellent time management skills and attention to detail. You must be able to work well in high-pressure situations and thrive on breaking news coverage. This is not a show-stacking job, you must have a flare for showcasing.

The successful candidate must be creative and have the ability to present today's news in a unique and interesting manner that lives our NOW brand. You must be skilled in the use of social media and how it translates to driving viewers to the television screen. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience of producing daily newscasts for a major network affiliate in a medium to large market. This is not an entry-level job.

- 2 years of producing experience
