NEWS ANCHOR/REPORTER (MORNING) - KCTV

About KCTV:

KCTV5 is the CBS affiliate serving the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Job Summary/Description:

The Morning Anchor/Reporter at KCTV is responsible for co-anchoring the morning show from 4:30am-7am and 9am-10am. They will anchor the morning show from 7am-8am on KSMO. The Morning Anchor/Reporter will also be responsible for creating at least one package per week and other duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for co-anchoring KCTV's morning show from 4:30am-7am and 9am-10am.
- Anchor the morning show from 7am-8am on KSMO.
- Create at least one package per week.
- Other duties including off-site appearances as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3-5 years of anchoring experience
- Ability to handle breaking news live in the studio and in the field
- Excellent on-camera presentation
- Be able to write in a clear, concise and conversational manner
