About Local News LIVE (LNL):

Local News LIVE is Gray TV's 24/7 live streaming news network. It provides live coverage from Gray's 113 markets, allowing viewers to watch stories from across the country on one platform. Watch national coverage of the day's top stories and get a local perspective from journalists who live in the communities they cover.

Job Summary/Description:

Local News LIVE is looking for news anchors to host our 24/7 live streaming news network. The ideal candidate has a passion for journalism, a strong background in storytelling, and a desire to own breaking news as well as the big stories happening across the country. Local News LIVE is seeking anchors who think on their feet, thrive on what's happening in the moment and embrace a startup culture.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Anchor breaking news coverage, live events, and newscasts
- Ability to present the news unscripted
- Write headlines and other important content to contribute to the overall quality of the channel
- Collaborate with producers to develop and deliver compelling news coverage
- Process constantly changing information for presentation in a non-scripted live environment
- Assist producers with newsgathering and procuring resources

Qualifications/Requirements:
- BS/BA in journalism, communications or related field preferred
- Three or more years as a news anchor at a TV station
- Sound editorial judgment and AP style writing skills
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring strict deadlines and a focus on team orientation
- Familiarity with ENPS, BitCentral and digital content management systems
- Skilled communicator, capable of speaking to a diverse audience and conveying messages effectively
