MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST (W/END) - WABI

Job Summary/Description:

WABI is seeking a MMJ for the weekends. Primary duties include reporting news for station, including weekends, for on air, website, and social media; shooting and editing. The ideal candidate will also have opportunities to fill-in for the weekend news anchor and for other newscasts. There may also be opportunities to assist the Sports Director with sports coverage during busy times for local sports, as well as fill-in sports anchoring.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Shooting and editing
-Reporting, some anchoring
-Operating live back pack units
-Posting materials to station's website and social media outlets
-Representing station at community events

Qualifications/Requirements:
- College degree preferably in journalism/electronic mass media
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
