About Gray Sales Training Team:
The Sales Training Team seeks a Corporate Multi-Platform Trainer who will be responsible for training and developing sellers and managers across all of our television station properties. This position will also focus on in-market station visits to help generate revenue, develop new client relationships and further develop our sales professionals.
Essential duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
o Responsible for the sales development and training of all sellers and managers
o In-market station visits to generate revenue and develop sellers
o Staying in tune and ahead of technology advancements, especially in digital
o Developing new strategies and training content that will drive and accelerate revenue
o At least five years of sales experience in the Broadcast industry
o At least two years of sales management experience in the Broadcast industry
o Exceptional written, verbal and communication skills. Demonstrates fluency, ''quickness on one's feet.'' Composes clear, precise, well-organized correspondence and proposals. Easily articulates vision and standards.
o High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc)
o Must be able to plan and organize multiple projects at a time and in a productive manner
o A solution-based thinker that can generate new approaches to problems and provide thoughtful solutions
o A goal-oriented individual that displays strong work ethic and initiative in everything they do
o Great judgment and demonstrates consistent logic, rationality, and objectivity in their decision-making ability
o Strong negotiation skills where the individual can achieve favorable outcomes in win/win negotiations
o Adaptability and can adjust quickly to changing priorities. Copes effectively with complexity
