Job Summary/Description:

KMVT News ''Putting You First'' as the #1 station in the Magic Valley provides viewership with up to the minute coverage across all touchpoints. We are looking for a Digital News Producer that will be responsible for overseeing KMVT's digital content, that includes a prominent KMVT News app. This person will also be responsible to be a leader, as KMVT will be providing content and talk back opportunities through our OTT desk platform. Minimum requirements include a college degree in journalism or similar, outstanding writing ability, excellent communication, self-motivation, and organizational skills. Must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-drive environment and project a positive image for our station in the community.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Write and edit news copy.
- Clip video to post to digital products.
- Plan live streaming events on digital products.
- Gather news by phone
- Send push alter to app users during breaking news.
- Monitor and approve scrips by reporting staff.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree in Communications, Journalism or other related field
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Enjoy a fast paced environment with a desire to win
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
