BOOKING PRODUCER (FULL COURT PRESS) - WASHINGTON DC

About Full Court Press:

Full Court Press with Greta Van Susteren is a political and current events show broadcast on all Gray Television markets and syndicated in leading cities including New York, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles covering more than 84% of the country.

The primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Book and research guests and conduct telephone interviews under the guidance of the executive producer and host
- Research and develop news segments
- Maintain and build on existing contacts for future bookings
- Develop sources and strong relationships with potential guests in a professional manner
- Greet and accompany guests in and out of the studio
- Meet with staffers on Capitol Hill to develop interviews and build relationships
- Collaborate with the Executive Producer and other staff to ensure news coverage is accurate and compelling
- Perform other duties as needed and directed

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of three years in a newsroom
- BA or equivalent work experience
- Deep knowledge of the political landscape
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills
- Computer literacy
- Schedule flexibility
- Willingness and ability to travel to various locations for news segments and political events
