Job Summary/Description:
This role will oversee the strategy, execution, and growth of all community partnerships, signature events, and trade partnerships/activations - ensuring that each initiative not only fulfills the station's mission of serving our audience but also delivers measurable success for our partners. The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative thinker with a proven record of revenue generation, partnership cultivation, and event management in media or related industries.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the development and growth of revenue-generating partnerships, sponsorships, and trade agreements.
Oversee planning and execution of Telemundo Atlanta's signature events and community activations, ensuring strong partner visibility and audience impact.
Identify new business opportunities that expand the station's presence and create measurable value for clients.
Negotiate and manage trade partnerships to maximize station resources and exposure.
Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and News teams to align community and business development strategies with station goals.
Represent Telemundo Atlanta as a senior leader at community, business, and industry events.
Track, analyze, and report on sponsorship performance, trade impact, and revenue outcomes.
Qualifications:
8–10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sponsorships, or community impact (media or related industry preferred).
Experience with broadcast and digital media a plus!
Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven track record of generating and growing revenue through partnerships and sponsorships.
Strong event management experience, particularly with high-visibility community events.
Ability to cultivate relationships with C-level executives, community leaders, and corporate partners.
Data-driven mindset with experience measuring and reporting ROI.
