Along with dominant news ratings, the #1 website and digital advertising offerings, you will have the opportunity to sell NFL (including Kansas City Chiefs Pre-season) March Madness, PGA Golf and CBS Primetime, we deliver the results for our advertisers. You will also sell KSCW featuring News at 7-9am, 4pm, 6:30pm and 9pm, and the stations Always on Storm Team 12, Heroes and Icons and Antenna TV.

Job Summary/Description:

KWCH/KSCW is currently looking to add a smart and self motivated individual to our sales team in Wichita, KS. As the dominant media company in the area, we have comprehensive marketing tools – both on-air and online.

We're seeking a hard-working, well-organized, and high energy candidate with great people skills. The successful candidate will generate revenue by selling advertising to local businesses on the station's multiple platforms and increase shares on existing business. The position offers excellent earnings potential and full benefits – including group health & dental, PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Accountability within a Sales environment
• A positive, results-oriented attitude
• Ability to cold call and diagnose challenges and opportunities of local businesses
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong formal and interpersonal communication skills
• 2+ years advertising sales experience preferred

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Business preferred
Licensing/Certifications: Valid driver's license with a good driving record
