KPTV is a Fox-affiliated television station licensed to Portland, Oregon. Owned by Atlanta-based Gray Television, it is part of a duopoly with Vancouver, Washington-licensed MyNetworkTV affiliate KPDX.

Job Summary/Description:

We are seeking a driven, collaborative, solutions-focused Account Executive who will be primarily responsible for continually developing new business while meeting/exceeding revenue goals as set by sales management. Must be able to provide marketable solutions to complex marketing demands, focus on recruiting potential clients and determining marketing, advertising & promotional needs.

Duties/Responsibilities would include (but not limited to):
- Pursues prospects to sell on-air, digital & multi-media campaigns customized to best fit each advertiser's needs
- Provides sales & service support to new & existing advertisers
- Participates in sales team activities & interacts effectively with production & traffic departments to fulfill customer needs; meets deadlines
- Achieves assigned revenue generation budgets and completes all required reporting in a timely manner
- Proficient in various software tools including WideOrbit, Matrix PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- College graduate
- 2-3 years experience in media sales
- Digital sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent presentation skills
- Highly competitive & strong negotiator
- Strategic thinker & solid problem-solver
