About the Position

Warriors Studio is looking for a Post-Production Manager to lead our team of editors to create content and stories for Warriors social media, digital, in-arena, Chase Center and other distribution channels. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects, including player features for in-arena and digital platforms, sponsored content, and Warriors Ground TV shows. We need your help to ensure the quality of our product matches the standards set by the Executive Creative Director and Sr. Director of Production (this position reports to the latter).

This is full-time role based in San Francisco, CA.

Willingness and ability to provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination will be required. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of video editors to maintain high-quality content and differentiate from other NBA teams
• Brainstorm with Producers and Editors within Warriors Studio to develop exciting and engaging stories to Warriors fans in arena and globally
• Work with Director of Production and Game Experience team to establish video concepts and target delivery dates
• Edit digital player video features, hype videos, promotional spots, and other branded video content as needed
• Assist with production of award-winning Warriors Ground TV show, sponsored by NBC Spots Bay Area, giving fans behind the scenes access to the team
• Provide hands-on content and production support assigned for Warriors home games and other production shoots as needed
• Maintain the high level of quality that is expected from Brand Marketing
• Identify, conceptualize and complete feature content quickly and within tight deadlines
• Brainstorm new concepts and content franchises for possible new partner revenue
• Collaborate with Motion Graphics team on partner needs, helping to elevate the overall in-game fan experience
• Stay up to date on new video techniques and trends within the industry as it relates to live entertainment

Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in video or film production, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years in a professional production environment with editing and motion design experience
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite of programs including Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects
• Ability to operate digital cinema cameras for production shoots (RED, Sony FS7, FS5, A7s) if needed; experience with various lighting techniques a plus
• Experience in color correction and audio mixing programs
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to grow talent and help team members reach individual goals and career ambitions
• Self-starter with ability to independently and collaboratively handle production shoots
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers
• Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
• Passion for new technology, tools and creative strategies
• Knowledge of live sports entertainment and production

Time Commitment
• Ability to work non-traditional hours in a 24/7 shift-based environment, including possible weekends, overnights and holidays as needed
• Possible travel 2-3 weeks out of the year for content opportunities
