About the Position

Chase Center is looking for a communications professional with extensive experience and knowledge in the entertainment industry. In this position, you will work with media who cover entertainment and venues in relation to coverage for Chase Center. You will exemplify diligence, creativity and a track record in public relations and media in the Bay Area and nationally. This positions reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications.

This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, CA.

Willingness and ability to provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination will be required. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
• Create, execute and track all public relations plans for Chase Center events
• Build and maintain positive relationships with key media figures (i.e., entertainment media, business editors, TV news producers, anchors, and radio news reporters) and entertainment agency PR contacts and tour PR contacts
• Oversee the Chase Center media contact database and assist with media relations needs at special events and public appearances
• Execute PR strategy for building-related storylines
• Write and produce creative media materials including key messages, media one-pagers and press releases for Chase Center related events
• Coordinate logistics for all on-site photographers and media at Chase Center events and concerts

Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communication, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5years in public and media relations, preferably within the entertainment industry
• Ability to think creatively and outside-the-box when pursuing media coverage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Positive and team-oriented attitude; excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with local and national media personalities and outlets, including artist, acts and media members
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
